As your city Council member during the past 2 1/2 years I have had the pleasure of serving on the federal intergovernmental task force evaluating offshore wind power for California, and more specifically Morro Bay. Potential huge economic benefits exist for our city as well as clean energy for our state with this project. As your Mayor, I will continue to advocate for clean energy off our coast, and a reasonable project for our city with lots of public input opportunities.
